Tourism between Thailand - Brazil


               According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the number of Brazilian tourists come to Thailand has been the largest tourists from Latin America. In 2019, Brazilian tourists numbered 60.5 thousand tourists or 0.15% of all international tourist arrivals to Thailand. In first half of 2020, there were 18.8 thousand Brazilian visitors to Thailand, a decline due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The record, however, shows the increasing numbers of tourists from Brazil, from 43.6 thousand tourists in 2013 to 60.5 thousand tourists in 2019. Moreover, Brazil is considered a potential Latin American market for first-time visitors to Thailand, as well as other segments such as luxury and LGBT tourists. On the other side, in 2019, Brazil hosted 4.02 thousand travelers from Thailand.
